I'm having a lot of trouble finding a nice girl who is as interested in me as I am in her. Read description, and tell me if I'm date-able? (I'm 19, an engineering student in his freshman year.) Look like: Short brown hair (down to eyebrows in front, not long at sides and back), dark brown eyes, slightly smaller face and good jawline. Rectangular glasses. Smaller guy, about 5'9", 130 lbs, scrawny/lean muscle build. Told to have great smile =D Education/work: A full-time engineering student, 15+ credit hours, working to pay for college (and can't drive because no help paying for school besides a few scholarships). *Meaning I take the bus or walk wherever I want to go normally. Personality/attributes/beliefs: Quiet guy, but very sociable when someone approaches him or with people familiar with. Bit of a bookworm, loves to read and write, draws manga and owns a webcomic. In the process of converting to Reform Judaism, somewhat active in his synagogue. Weird music taste- loves a lot of foreign music- German, Israeli, Russian. Likes metal, classic rock, electronic and reggae (think Metallica, Rammstein, Orphaned Land, The Who, Beatles, The Crystal Method, deadmau5, Bob Marley, Matisyahu). Wears more fashionable stuff, has a good sense of fashion, but usually wears yarmulke in public. Cares a lot, recently had heart hurt when led-on and then rejected by a girl he was close to. Loves a good chat, parties and especially concerts. Has a lot of geeky traits (gamer, good with computers, not so-much with girls outside of friendship circle). Speaks almost fluent German, learning Russian and just starting Hebrew classes. Loves sports, hockey in-particular. Open Question: I want to learn how to draw manga, how should I start?
I'm an ok artist I guess, but nothing much. I want to learn how to draw anime/manga styled characters and landscapes, and once I get good at that start using flash for coloring and such. Since I'm not all that great I figured I should start by learning from scratch, the only problem is.. where does "scratch" start from? links to sites would be most helpful xD practice is a given, but where to start is my question. should I start by learning how to draw figures, or landscapes, or focus on anatomy, theres so many things I need to get down I don't know where to start

Ok so my friend wants to make his own manga when he's older. Theirs just one problem he's no where close to being able to draw manga or anime. He's on ok drawer but it cant even be compared to cartoon drawing. Anyways how do I tell him he wont even make it to Japan with drawings like that with out being mean and having to face another one of his insults. Ok I think the real problem would be the teachers their encouraging him to the point where his ignorance shows 24/7 Ok so he calls him self an ultimate anime fan yet he's barley seen 24 different animes including movies and seasons. I've seen over 80 and tthat's not including the movies and seasons and I don't even like to call my self an Otaku even though I can be considered one. Oh and of course he has the nerve to insult me by saying oh well if you cant pronounce a japanese name right your not an otaku, I mean so what if I cant get one name right hell some times I space out so bad I forget my own name..........but seriously before he met me he didn't even know that word existed. Ok so what I want to tell him is: Sebastian your almost 16 and yet you seem to still be lost in your childhood fantasies. It's time to get off your high horse and back down to reality like the rest of us. Your no where close to being able to even draw manga or anime and your not even close enough to draw cartoons. Sorry to say but you'd better start looking for a new career choice because if you go to Japan with those drawing skills your going to be rejected and laughed at and end up dead in a ditch because you couldn't get a job their and couldn't go home because you wont have enough money. Ok im not trying being mean yet the only reason I want to tell him is because he's insulting me and other people and it's getting to the point to where im going to smash his face off the wall. Open Question: Anyone on deviant art that is good at drawing manga?
So I am writing a story and I was wondering if anybody could draw me my characters. Just two of them. Here is my main character: Has red long hair, and has blue eyes and has a fox tail and fox ears. Wears a white kimono that covers almost to wrist. Here's the second main character: She has sort of long brown hair, wears a black tee, wears brown boots, and faded blue jeans. And she has a medium sized chest. :P (Just to let you know, I want only the good drawings, that looks like real manga, and take your time, and I'll give you credit)
