Strange Interlude, A Eugene O’Neill play that displays the complex web of the diversity between our thoughts and our words. Norma Shearer is cast as a woman who lost the love of her life when he was shot down in WWI. The movie speaks of romances and marriages between Nina and three men, only one of whom she loves. It is about growing old without settling their complications. This is a fascinating movie, with Shearer at her shining best.
