Pick from the critiques below and download a fantastic film to watch this evening!

Deep in My Heart – Guest stars Walter Pidgeon, Paul Henreid, Rosemary Clooney, Gene and Fred Kelly, Jane Powell, Vic Damone, Ann Miller, Cyd Charisse, Howard Keel, Tony Martin. The life of composer Sigmund Romberg is not the matter of high tirade, although film shines in production numbers with MGM guest actors. Highlights contain Kelly brothers’ solitary film appearance mutually, Chatisse’s attractive and sensual dance number with James Mitchell, and a astonishing number characterizing Ferrer acting a whole show himself. Cast includes Jose Ferrer, Merle Oberon, Helen Traubel, Doe Avedon, Tamara Toumanova, Paul Stewart, Douglas Fowley, and Jim Backus. (132 minutes,’54)

The Stepford Wives – A modern remake of the’75 movie of the same name. The town of Stepford, on opening appearance, seems like the ideal place. Everything in Stepford seems perfect. Newcomers to Stepford Joanne and Bobbie are starting to doubt what is going on. Will they figure it out before it is too late?

Jack Frost – A neglectful father dies in an automobile mishap and comes to life one year later on as a snowman in his kid’s front yard! Nice, likable acting and an absence of violence make this an alright family film. However, it on no account conquers its quintessential problem, an awfully peculiar premise. Cast includes Michael Keaton, Kelly Preston, Mark Addy, Joseph Cross, Henry Rollins, and Dweezil Zappa. (95 minutes,’98)

The Horse Whisperer – After her daughter is critically injured in a horse riding accident, her well-heeled mother takes the horse to a famous horse whisperer in Montana. A romance between the two follows.

Lara Croft Tomb Raider, The Cradle of Life – Pouting and pillaging in a range of exposing outfits, Jolie returns as the video-game adventuress who teams up with her gloomy ex in a race to find Pandora’s Box before it falls into the hands of an evil scientist who wants to harness its current to develop biological weapons. Surprisingly inept and incessant continuation gives new meaning to the word “uninteresting.” Cast includes Angelina Jolie, Gerard Butler, Noah Taylor, Christopher Barrie, and Simon Ya. (117 minutes, 2003)

The Defiant – A captivating account of 2 runaway convicts, one black and one white who are chained together as they escape from prison in the South. Fine performances by Williams and Chaney as individuals they meet during the voyage. Academy Prize for screenplay by Harold Jacob Smith and Nathan E. Cast includes Tony Curtis, Sidney Poitier, Theodore Bike, Charles McGraw, Carnie Williams, and Lon Chaney, Jr. (97 minutes,’58)

Dracula Has Risen From The Grave – Dracula runs afoul of tiny-town monsignor while he chases the churchman’s beautiful blonde niece. Cast includes Christopher Lee, Rupert Davies, Veronica Carlson, Barbara Ewing, Barry Andrews, and Michael Ripper. (92 minutes,’68)
