From The Beginning

Transformers became the major impression when it was released in 2007, the older age group was being reminded of their once most wanted characters and the younger age band loved the marvellous new shape of the elderly robots.

Now, Michael Bay is back once more with Transformer – Revenge of the Fallen; the motion picture celebrities of the earlier transformer movie as well as some fresh ones. The two rivals Autobots and Decepticons are battling a ferocious battle.

Optimus Prime is leading the Autobot troops. He is his brave and fearless. Peter Cullen has given his voice for the character. As before he disguises himself as a blue Peterbilt truck and it has red flame decals on it. He is the mightiest and wisest Autobot of all. In transformers-revenge of the fallen he fights for the welfare of human kind against his own kind.

Decepticons are being lead by Megatron once again. In transformers Megatron was destroyed by Sam but now he rises again. He was thrown into the Laurentian Abyss by the Autobots, now he is raised by the Constructicons with the help of Allspark and he disguises in the form of a Cybertronian tank. Some sources say that he is now a Triple Changer and transforms into a jet mode as well. However, he is stronger and crueler than before.

Decepticons have another secret weapon, The Fallen. As the name of the movie suggests The Fallen has a lot of significance in the movie. The Fallen was one of the first thirteen original transformers, but he had evil plans and corrupted Megatron and urged him to form the Decepticons. Now, he is again woken up from the bottom of the sea by the Constructicons, where he had been laying for thousand of years. This time he will also join hands with the Decepticons and come to fight against the Autobots and humans. Rumors have it that Leonard Nimoy is voicing the character of The Fallen.

Mark Ryan once more provides sound for Bumblebee. The favorite fifth-generation Chevrolet Camaro, Sam’s mate and alley is back this time too. In the sequel Bumblebee is unrelated from Sam but answer him in Egypt where the encounter between the Decepticons and Autobots takes place. There he in conjunction with Sam and other Autobots fights the depraved Decepticons.

Starscream is also important part of the movie. He is imperative to the Decepticons. Starscream is the air commander of the Decepticons. He disguises himself as an F-22 Raptor. In the pervious film he did not have a major role and flew back to space but now he returns with evil motives and plans on taking over the world but alone as a commander himself.

Soundwave also an imperative character of the Decepticons acts as their spy soldier. He converts into a Cybertronian craft with jet aircraft and satellite capabilities. He takes the shape of a Cybertronian craft. Soundwave is given sound of Frank Welker. Now the audience awaits the release of the movie to see in detail how the characters play their own noteworthy roles in the film.

The sequel of Transformers has been most anticipated since 2007, after the release of the first movie. This science fiction action movie busted the charts. The robots, the action, the adventure was a huge hit. The special effects of the film were truly applauded.

At the moment, with the opening of Transformers – Revenge of the Fallen just few days away, the audience wait for a superior degree of action. When Bay decided to direct the movie he tried to embrace all the scenes and characters that had to be edited in the last film. The sequel is considered to be darker, but still the young spectators have been kept in mind.

Los Angles, California was the primary site where filming started in May, 2008. The first scene was an action sequence shot at Bethlehem Steel, which was opened as a component of Shanghai. After one more scene the team continued to Philadelphia and shot at Exelon, The University of Pennsylvania, Drexel University, Eastern State Penitentiary, Fairmount Park, Philadelphia City Hall etcetera. They then shot at Princeton University. The crew shot at Holloman Air Force Base and White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico during September. Then they performed some shooting in New Mexico at Holloman Air Force Base and White Sands Missile Range, which is supposed to be Egypt.

The initial unit, in concert with Shia LaBeouf, shot in Egypt itself. The shoot was kept covert because of protection measurements. They shot a few scenes at the pyramids, where no shooting has been certified for 30 years. More scenes were shot in Paris and the closing scenes were shot on the aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis on November 2, 2008. The best moment of the film was acted out in Egypt, and is said to be much simple to chase and comprehend.

Hasbro and Takara advised that merging of the robots must be the key focus of the movie. The varying modes were kept the same as before for the old robots. Bay engaged actual F-16 Fighting Falcon and tank fire for the filming of the battle. Many wonderful new cars camouflaged by the Autobot were provided by General Motors so that they would look prominent and vibrant on the screen.

Scott Farrar yet again become the visual effects administrator and used darker lighting and darker roles for the Decepticons. Michael Bay hunted for more close ups of the robots. The animators put in more action, hits, and mad war, with much more innovative and natural robots. The Transformers are more imaginative and inventive, which meant more work for the special effects supervisor.

Steve Jablonsky worked as the music director again. Linkin Park also worked with him on the music and gave one of their songs for the film. Jablonsky had previously utilized another of Linkin Park’s songs in the first movie. The special effects and music are major attractions for the upcoming sequel, and the audience expects it to be better than ever before.

Everything is new in Transformers -Revenge of the Fallen, apart from the director, producer, and the central cast; however no one is going to criticise that. No one can be better than that team. The team which gave the super hit Transformers is back with a further superb creation. Transformers – revenge of the fallen is entirely new, different, innovative, and unique.

Shia LaBeouf plays Sam Witwicky, and heads for the adventures, and Megan Fox plays Mikaela Banes, Sam’s girlfriend and like earlier Peter Cullen is giving the voice of Optimus Prime, however that’s the way it has to be. Hugo Weaving once again is voicing Megatron. Of course, the movie cannot continue without Bumblebee, which is voiced by Mark Ryan.

Well, that was old and basic, at present is the newest and most interesting part i.e. the character of The Fallen, who is told to be the most important villain and the Decepticon leader. The Fallen is aroused by some wicked Decepticons from the base of the sea where he had been laying for many years. Later on, he supports the Decepticons in their fight with the Autobots.

The Fallen was one of the first thirteen transformers. He was always hungry for power and authority and led Megatron into forming the Decepticons. He ruined and spoiled Megatron. Now that’s fascinating and thrilling, as there is a new villain who is much more potent, evil, and deceptive. The Fallen will direct the Decepticon troops and the war would be more brutal and ferocious.

There is a greater degree of struggle and fight. There are more robots, explosion, and adventure. A new degree of adrenaline rush. There is more action and exploration. New and different sites, diversity of location and scenario are major attractions of the movie. The movie is shot at various settings including Egypt, where the origins of transformers are said to be discovered.

A spoiler revealed a few new Autobots. Audi R8, a Decepticon is being chased by the Autobots. These Autobots consist of the few new transformers including an ice cream truck, which can be split known as The Twins, a hot pink cool motorbike Acree, who studs around daringly. Also there are Wheels, a go-kart, and a hot new Porsche known as Stinger, and the old Ironhide, the arms expert GMC truck from the first Transformers. The Autobots try to hunt down Audi R8 but fail to do so but anyways that revealed some electrifying things for us. Now this exciting scene would be fun to watch.

These new robots and locations add a new flavour to the movie. The plot is much more diverse and inspiring. The characters are more self-regulating and firm. Sam’s character has a new turn about as he is alone at his college with no friends and family and even Bumblebee. He appears unwilling to face the Decepticons at first but then joins hands with the Autobots as the humans might be at risk to get involved in the Transformer’s fight.

However now, let’s see how Autobots and humans hold up against The Fallen, and would they be able to thrive in saving themselves and Earth once again is still so far to be discovered.
