One such application that has been a long time coming is the availability of Trillian on the iPod Touch. Priced at five dollars from the Apple App Store, the Instant Messenger of choice for many is finally here.

This is almost assured, as the mobile application remains loyal to its desktop counterpart as much as possible. Contacts can be organized and sorted as readily as you can from a home computer, whilst multi chats can also be had with the user friendly tabbed browser bar.

The availability of the tech on the iPod Touch has been as a result of a fair bit of development from Apple too. This allows users of Trillian to set their status, customize messages, and select avatars as required. What is also cool, is that whether the application is on or not, users will get updates of any messages, and can select to open the app or not directly.

The beauty of the app of course is in its ability to handle instant messaging from a range of platforms, and synchronize this effortlessly. However, use of it does mean that users will need a Trillian Astra account, though this too can be done via the iPod Touch.

Increasingly, the iPod Touch is being used as a gaming device, so it is no surprise that a plethora of games are coming available in the run up to Christmas.

A release that is bound to get the attention of casual gamer is The Treasures of Montezuma 2. The first game was a worldwide hit, and with more challenging levels and trickier games to play, this looks set to be a winner too.

Adding to the Ice Age film franchise, is the game spinning off from the 3rd film; Dawn of the Dinosaurs. This sees the player take the role of the hapless acorn seeking squirrel, Scrat, as he searches through wonderfully produced platforms on his seemingly never ending task.

More good news for gamers comes from powerhouse Konami, who recently announced that all mobile games in their stock will be available at just ninety-nine cents. Let the rush begin; with such titles as Silent Hill and Krazy Kart Racing being included.

The iPod Touch is of course as much as a musical player as it is a gaming device. And an app that looks set to be popular with music enthusiasts is the iSample 2. 0. Much of the included kit is that seen on pro apps, so it looks set to be big.

There are host of other apps available of course, and a wide range of accessories that can be attached to the iPod Touch too of course. No doubt the next few weeks and months will have more surprises in store.

If you are seeking for a great present to give your kid this festive season, you may want to think of glancing at the ipod touch. Remember that you do not need to buy it new, you could always opt for a used ipod touch.

A common looking item these days is the iPod. These media players are a popular device. They are completely portable. An exciting option available to vehicle owners is the car connection in which the iPod can be played over the vehicles speakers. Many people agree that radio commercials and advertisements are boring, long winded and irritating. Many people say there are too much talk and not enough music on the radio. The iPod car connection can give the driver the freedom to listen to whatever music they would prefer to listen to while they are driving.

This is an inexpensive way to car connect the iPod. It generally costs between ten and twenty dollars. This adapter will work with cars with cassette players. However, new car models will not have the cassette player. This connection does produce sound quality that is considered moderate.

There are many types of iPod car connections. These connections can range in price from ten dollars to well over two hundred dollars. Many of these cheaper connections will result in poor sound quality. At least the vehicle driver can listen to the music they love on their iPod but through the vehicle’s speakers. The top rated connection is the iPod smart cable connection. A vehicle owner who is interested in listening to their iPod in their vehicle should research the topic. Decide which type of option is best for the vehicle and proceed to get the best car connection they can. It is good to know that there are many options available to the vehicle owner.

There are a ton of Video MP3 Players out there. You will be able to view videos whenever you like. They are quite compact and fun to use and they are quite powerful as well.

They come in all shapes and sizes along with a rainbow of colors and don’t even get me started on all of the features available on the market. They can do everything you can think of!

Ok, lets cover some of the features now. There are Video MP3 Players that have only memory for the storage of the songs and there are also some players that only have hard drives to store the songs. Regardless of the one you get pay close attention to the amount of memory or hard drive storage it has.

To keep things simple, whichever one you decide on just understand they will perform pretty much the same. Meaning a unit with 1GB of storage for its hard drive is the same as a 1GB unit of memory.

Basically the bigger the memory / hard drive the more songs you can store on it. I suggest you get at least 4GB unit that will hold thousands of songs for you.

There are of course other larger units that come in sizes like 16GB, 32GB, 80GB, 120GB and others as well. These types of units are for people who plan on utilizing 10,000+ MP3′s, videos, images, files, etc all stored on there Video MP3 Player. If that is you then I’m sure you will be quite happy. These types of people are called power users.

I would hate to see anyone waste money by getting one that is more power then they will need. If your goal is to have less then 1000 songs and maybe watch some videos and have some pictures too then a 4GB size Video MP3 Player will be more suited for you.

Then again, if your likely to be a person who has thousands upon thousands of songs, videos, images, etc. Then you need to cough up the extra cash and get one of the big boys that can hold a lot of stuff since you will need it.

My Thoughts Of The Motion Picture This Is It: Why It Will Go Well

Four months after Michael Jackson’s untimely passing, “This Is It”, a concert film capturing Michael in his last days will soon be available showing Michael doing what he does best; dancing, singing and pouring his heart out to the world.

Some of you may be thinking that this documentary is being released too soon after his funeral because of the ongoing investigation and controversy surrounding his death. But perhaps we can consider it to be a part of the healing process.

The “This Is It” film is more a behind the scenes documentary showing the rehearsals of his 50-show run at London’s O2 arena and was to be the King of Pop’s final tour. Because he was in the middle of these rehearsals led many to believe he was too frail or sick, or even under the influence of drugs to be able to complete this tour.

It’s actually a behind the scenes documentary showing the weeks before what was suppose to have been Michael’s final tour with a 50-show run at London’s O2 arena. Some say they would be reluctant to watch it; afraid to see a weak and frail Michael or maybe even under the influence of drugs. I’m here to tell you that is not the case.

Director and Choreographer Kenny Ortega had a huge task before him with over 100 hours of rehearsal footage to choose from. The documentary completed is almost two hours of Michael’s rehearsals including his biggest hits like “Billie Jean”, “Wanna Be Startin Something”, “Smooth Criminal” and “Black and White”.

He was upbeat, joking and laughing and showed such compassion and kindness toward his team members even though he guided them with a firm hand. He strived for perfection from himself to each member of the dance team, including the musicians, and special effects team alike. And after each practice he always gave a “God Bless” or “It’s all for love” to everybody.

You can see that he always wanted everyone to laugh and have fun. It was very interesting to watch Michael because he was such a perfectionist and it showed.

While watching this footage I saw that Michael did not look weak or frail but actually strong and happy. Some suggested that the tour would have been too much for him to handle. To me he looked strong and happy. He looked like he was right where he needed to be. He wanted to give this tour to his fans.

He loved to love us. I think this film helped me cope with his passing. A way to keep Michael in our hearts, as we are in his.

Let me tell give you a small review on one of my favorite biographies. It’s called Schindler’s List, and if you haven’t seen it, please watch it tonight! It’s directed by Steven Spielberg, and is a depiction of what the Jews went through in the Holocaust. Sure it may have some depressing scenes, but the acting is superb, and the movie is brilliant. It’s shot completely in black and white, which was ingenious by Steven, and I must admit I cried a tear or two.

Liam Neeson is awesome and plays the German businessman making a profit from German military contracts. His company employs a Jewish work staff that is slowly depleted as he discovers the awful truth that they are being slaughtered, one by one, in gas chambers located in Auschwitz. He becomes a savior to so many Jewish people, although he cried that he did not save enough.

This movie biography will tear at your heart and bring tears to your eyes. It will uncover the awful truth about the Holocaust, and you will be compelled to want to watch more biography movies.

This movie biography and many others are what makes biographies so intensely riveting and interesting to watch. Even though Hollywood will interject their bits of fiction, for the most part the biographies are real stories of real people.

There’s quite a range of iPods by Apple. All of them are different from each
other. This article sums up the features of all of the iPods on Apple’s current
range, and will hopefully give you a good insight as to which of the devices
fits you.

The iPod Shuffle: The Shuffle is the smallest iPod. It weighs just 10.7g. It’s the
only iPod to not have a screen. It simply has a keypad with the standard play, pause,
stop, fast forward and rewind buttons.

The Shuffle is currently available in 2GB and 4GB versions. Unlike other iPods,
it uses flash memory instead of a hard disk. At about $60, the iPod Shuffle is by
far the cheapest iPod, aimed at those who want a cheap, simple personal media player
that’s made by a very reputable company.

iPod Nano: The Nano is the medium-sized iPod. It’s small and thin, and comes
in a range of attractive vibrant colours. The Nano can be bought with either 8GB
or 16GB storage space. Also, the newest release of the player comes with a camera,
letting you record videos as well as just playing media. The only other Apple
handheld product to have a video camera is the iPhone 3GS.

The Nano costs around $150. It’s targeted at the people who want a very good
iPod, but aren’t in such desperate need for a huge amount of storage space.

iPod Classic: The Classic is just as the name suggests; it’s the Classic version of
the iPod. It’s surprisingly similar to the first model of iPod that came out almost
10 years ago, but it’s sleeker, of course. The Classic could be seen as the iPod
with a massive storage space; it’s available to buy in 80GB and 160GB models!

The Classic costs around $200, and is great for those people who just seem to
have an ever-expanding music library that just never ends, and want their
whole media library all on one device!

The iPod Touch: The Touch is very much different from the other iPods. It has no
touchpad that you would expect to find on all other iPods. Instead it’s totally touch
screen. The Touch has a range of features, from playing your media to checking your
emails. It’s currently available in 32GB and 64GB models, offering quite a lot of
storage space.

The iPod touch will cost you up to $400, depending on how much storage space you
want. It’s primarily aimed at those people who want not only a great portable media
player, but also also something that will do other things like checking your emails.

As you have seen, there are many iPods to choose from, with all different styles
and price ranges. With all of these models to choose from, you are going to find
one that meets what you need.
