This incredible series starts as the borg and captain begin to define their relationship and over the follwing 50 odd installments covers their lifes as they battle themselves, others and everything in between as they try to make it back to earth. The final installments of the Just Between Series, make way for the new 'Millenium Series' that are the continuation of their lives (while these stories at this point have obvioulsy moved well beyond the orginal series, the characters we'e come to know and love are all still there) As someone who had never really watched this show, it was through reading this series that I got involved in this fandom, so there's no need to really know what may or may not have happened on the show to understand the story.

A series well worth reading, though fair warning, give yourself plenty of time as it's really long (and still growing as the new series is still being updated - though each new installment is complete before posting)
