Women’s Murder Club – Virtual Season 2

Episode 1: Begin Again

If you enjoyed the tv show (hell even if you didn’t get to watch it) you’re going to love this first in what will be a 13 episode virtual season.

Sort of kicking off pretty much where the series ended, the club is back: tackling aftermath of events that occurred during the first season and introducing what is already going to be a pretty creepy bad guy, this episode reads much like the show did. It’s incredibly well written, with a typical spattering of humour and a suspense packed lead into the series arc that will leave readers waiting not so patiently for next week.

Without giving anything away – this is what the show should have been. If you want a bit of humour in amongst your crime action you’ve got it. Want to see four strong female leads – you’ve got it. Looking for a creepy, scary, well thought out mystery/suspense/thriller/crime drama – well that’s certainly there. Rather have a bit of Lindsay/Cindy – well it’s heading in that direction. No matter what you wanted from the original series, you’re bound to find it in this virtual season – and it’s only the first episode. Now I just have to wait until next week for more.
